Learn English. Explore Canada.
Imagine waking up to a snowy Canadian morning, practicing your English in class, and spending the rest of the day discovering what winter in Canada is really all about — skating, skiing, snow tubing, exploring the city, making new friends, and experiencing a completely different culture.
The WeCanada Teen Winter Experience is a short-term educational and cultural immersion program designed for teenagers ages 14 to 18 who want to combine English learning with an unforgettable Canadian winter adventure.
It's much more than a language program. It's a chance to study, travel, experience snow, try winter sports, discover Canadian culture, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
ENGLISH BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
Students participate in an immersive English-language program designed to develop their communication skills and confidence.
But learning doesn't stop when class is over. Every interaction becomes an opportunity to practice English — talking with a host family, ordering food, participating in activities, visiting attractions, making new friends, or simply experiencing everyday life in Canada.
The goal is simple: learn English by living daily life in English!
EXPERIENCE LIFE IN CANADA
One of the most valuable parts of the program is experiencing what everyday life in Canada is really like. Students may stay with carefully selected Canadian host families, where they have the opportunity to practice English naturally, experience Canadian culture and traditions, and become part of a local family environment.
For many teenagers, this is their first experience living away from home — an important opportunity to develop independence, responsibility, confidence, adaptability, and maturity.
EXPERIENCE A REAL CANADIAN WINTER
For many international students, seeing snow for the first time is already unforgettable. Now imagine actually living the Canadian winter.
The WeCanada Teen Winter Experience introduces students to the traditions, activities, sports, and lifestyle that make winter in Canada so unique.
Depending on the program, weather conditions, and destination, winter experiences may include:
● Skiing or snowboarding
● Ice skating
● Snow tubing and sledding
● Snowshoeing
● Canadian hockey experiences
● Outdoor snow activities
● Winter festivals and seasonal events
● Visits to ski resorts and winter destinations
● City tours and sightseeing
● Shopping, entertainment, and cultural activities
Whether it is your first time seeing snow or your first time trying a winter sport, every day offers something new to discover.
DISCOVER CANADA
Canada becomes the classroom. Our programs are designed to introduce students not only to the English language, but also to the country's culture, lifestyle, history, diversity, cities, and natural beauty.
Depending on the selected program, students may have the opportunity to discover some of Canada's most exciting destinations, including Ottawa, Montréal, Québec City and Toronto. It is education through experience — and an unforgettable way to discover Canada.
MORE THAN A WINTER VACATION
International experiences during the teenage years can have an impact that lasts far beyond the trip itself. Students return home with much more than improved English.
They may return with greater: Confidence • Independence • Cultural Awareness • Communication Skills • Responsibility • Global Perspective • New Friendships
And they most definitely return with stories, experiences, and memories they will carry with them for years to come.
A SAFE EXPERIENCE WITH PEACE OF MIND FOR PARENTS
We know that an international experience for a teenager is also a major decision for parents. That is why WeCanada Education provides local support throughout the program, helping students feel safe, welcomed, and supported from arrival to departure.
Depending on the program, services may include:
Airport Reception & Transfers • Homestay Coordination • Student Orientation • Local • Transportation Support • Activities & Excursions • Medical Insurance • Custodianship for Minors • Student Monitoring • 24/7 Emergency Support
While students enjoy their Canadian adventure, parents can have the reassurance of knowing that there is a local team based in Canada supporting them throughout their experience.
